Five Minutes with EDR Girl Alece Levings
So, how did you get to become an EDR Performance model? Is it true you just cold called them and said "Hey, I want to be an EDR girl!"?
(Laughs) Yes, it is true. I called them and spoke to an old employee they had. He told me to send in some photos and less than an hour later they called me and told me I would be in the 2007 Calendar! It was exciting.
How long have you modeled? Was EDR your first modeling job?
I have been off and on modeling for about seven years and just got into this type of modeling that past two, its been amazing and fun.
What do you like about working with EDR Performance?
The hot bikes! The faster the better and this group can really go fast!
Do you like bikes? Did you grow up around them?
I definitely love bikes, and grew up around them. My dad has always rode one so I have always enjoyed being on the back. My dad has known Eric (EDR Owner) since he was like 15 years old.
What do you do for a living?
I am a dental assistant for kids!
What do you do when not working or modeling?
Shop, eat, hang out with my friends and family. I also spend time with my pets!
How has modeling and/or working with EDR Performance changed you?
I love bikes even more and it has really given me a great chance to get to know all of the guys of EDR and their racers. Modeling in general has opened my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities and meeting great new people. It makes you more outgoing and fun.
Whats the best thing about shooting for sthe EDR Performance calendar?
Working with guys and for this last shoot getting to be at the track. I love to watch the races and hang out with friends and for this last shoot I got to do both!
Whats the worst thing about modeling?
People judge you when they dont even know you.
Any plans in the future to model more? Promotions with EDR more?
I would love to work for EDR again, any promotions they want me to be involved in I would be more than happy to be apart of! ( Hint Hint )
