Just purchased a new bike and it has alot of goodies on it I was not lucky enough to own in previous life...
its a 07 CBR 1000RR and it has the bst race wheels with ceramic bearings. Up front they are mounted to a set of ohlins road and track forks. My question is what should I be torque'ing the front and rear axels to now with this set up? Thanks in advance! Cant wait to get this bike out on the track and try them out! E |

The OEM Tq IMO is way too high. If u knew what we tqd the race bikes at you'd be shocked. Honestly I'd only with using a good Tq wrench go 45lbs rear and 35 ft. Again that's Just my opinion. You don't want to damage bearings by over Tqing things. Actually its a bit of years experience and such getting front tight but free spinning.

Safety wire is your friend. Add pins if you run that torque IMHO.

The stock rear tire comes with a pin, the is no way in hell that the nut comes off...
But usualy people use way more than the 72lbs/f that the manual recomends.
