you know until SOMEONE comes within EVEN HALF A FUCKING LAP OF MALDIN..he can talk all the shit he wants! PERIOD!

Im REALLY disgusted with American Honda. Niel is riding like he doesn't care/want to push himself and Miguel is well..no comment. I wish American Honda would pull their HEAD out of their ass and go

"ok thanks miguel..beat it...and welcome our newest superbike riders Jake Holden and Josh Hayes" would cost less for BOTH them than 1 miguel!

Yeah, Disalvo is just jealous. :) And I agree, give Josh a ride. But with the newest DMG bullshit it doesnt really matter. Josh should head over to the WSBK series.

ROFL - Amen Eric...that's one thing I love about AMA racing. You're a professional now, and if you can't remember to tighten your own shit, then you got no business being out there!

Excellent shot of Mladin....hell ya!

Agreed Eric...Honda has two guys in Jake and Josh who are HUNGRY AS HELL and would love to put the gawd damn beast up front. Miguel's just got no fire anymore and Neil's too content to circulate even though he says otherwise. Body language says it all to me. Secondly, Amercian Honda needs to quit smoking the freaky deaky and go back to leasing bikes from HRC. They have gone completely backwards since taking their racing in house. They used to always be competitive, now they can't even beat the other has beens of superbike. I hate to say it since I'm a Honda guy, but sheesh...I mean take a look at how quick MotoGP teams shuffle riders to find the hungry ones. Who'da thunk that dumping Colin for Lorenzo was a good move, but man...hard to argue there. Get the fresh hungry guys on the equipment and watch where their desire to win, overcomes many of the subtle issues of the bikes. Gee another rider in the AMA series comes to mind...Herinin! That fugger is hungry as hell and is going somewhere...gotta love it. Nuff said! Wake up Honda and get some YOUNG fuggin talent on your superbikes!

To an extent I can agree with that...put up or shut up mentality. However, knowing full well that those bikes are a cut above many others, have massive amounts of money behind them that privateers (aka the majority of the grid) do not have, AND the fact that this is "Professional" racing in which your money does actually indeed come from people buying GSXR's sparked from your winnings...personally I think a slight biting of the tongue would be wise. Similar to Mark making a comment right after a 2-fast track day that, "These guys need to step it up, I was bored out there today".

Agreed, Mladdin is indeed at the top of his game here in the AMA, no doubt at all and the other factory teams do need to get on their "A Game" in particular Honda. But DiSalvo and such are by no means sandbagging or sitting in the wings just because they know that it will be the Mladdin/Spies show. Jason tries, Hayden tries, Bostrom tries (but destroys tyres I know) and Hacking tries.

Not trying to say that you are wrong Eric, just saying that people at that level have a certain level of professionalism that they SHOULD maintain. A little humility goes a long ways. I don't think for one second that if Jensen got on Spies or Mladdin's bike they would immediately be 1 second ahead of everyone, but I do think that if Mat or Ben were on Jensen's bike or a lesser bike then the Yosh bike then things would indeed be closer or at least definately more difficult for those two.

I love Mat. :D Always getting a rise out of people. He also tells it how it is. He's just trying to get guys fired up.

I would be bored too if the only other bike I saw during a race was lap traffic. Sure, it means you're doing well enough that you're winning races but you also don't get to race with anyone.

I'll finish with his comment from the DMG questions. "Do whatever you want, the results will be the same." :D
