I was riding last weekend during the nice 70 degree weather and notice that my 2007 GSXR-750 was running a little hotter then usual? 215 + degrees at stop lights and the fan would come on. While riding down the road heat was not a problem. Maybe I just have never noticed it untill now? With the stock plastics it seems like there was more air flow to the header, compare to the fiberglass race body. Should I trim the fiberglass to alow more air flow on the header?

Thanks

My ZX-6R typically would run about that warm if it was stop an go traffic. I would seggest putting engine ice in your radiator that stuff actually works I dropped 10 degree's just by running that in my bike. and it wouldn't hurt I don't think to expose more of the engine to the outside air to help it cool a little better. But sitting still is of course your engines enemy it needs air moving over it to help it run cooler. But I wouldn't get scared unless you see the temp gauge go over 240degree's at which point I would shut the bike off asap and park and let it sit.
