EDR folks heading to Fontana?

Just wondering if any racers from here are headed down to Fontana for the first WERA round. I am heading down and wanted to know who to expect (or watch out for)

i hope to with several guys. I know in past Justin Lowitz and Jason Bluth have done so, i know Misti is goin for sure...its a TON of fun! so long as the winds stay calm!!

Misti is going now? Last I heard she was unsure but that her new team mate Josh was. Fontucky can be fun, but yes those winds are almost reminscent of Spokan-a-Twisters. Miller can be just as bad some nights too. Nothing a few Vodka and RedBulls can't handle though ;)

I fly in the night of the 11th and start shooting for Corey on the 12th. Fastrack Riders said I can only shoot the people that "requested my service" since they already have an on location photog. But shooting for just Corey and possibly Lil Mario would get boring for me so I'll keep an eye out for my NW peeps.

13th (WERA Race Day) I'll be sniping everyone though.

Folks I know are going... Misti Hurst, Bennie Taylor, Justin Watkins (90% sure) ... little guy Peter (ok, my kid) on his RS125/CRF150R if they let him in for some practice time.

Good to hear Misti is going, she and Josh wanted new promo stuff prior to the race season getting into full swing and before Daytona. I still need to figure out a way to shoot that race.

There are 3 versions of the pic, 2 black and white but I toned down some of the red and the color version. I unlocked the galley for you now though so you can download them all, its not like they are race pics or something.

Hover over the pic and you should now see a pop out box show up under the photo with different size options, click "Save Photo" and the digital original will download for you. Paypal me sometime soon, $15 is the usual price for a single original, feel free to tip me ;) haha

looks like we are going to the wire with Mario's bikes being done on time...Friggin aye! As of right now, like Bones said, we are 90% sure that we will be there but bummed that the kids will not be allowed on the track on Saturday for the track day. Sucks cuase the kids will only get to practice in the morning and that is it, then race...Ohhhh well, such is life...

Amber taught us a trick while at LVMS to get Corey some extra track time. Sign up for the Solo class. Many of the WERA racers do it and while there is a payout (cash even) most of the racers do not really take the Solo races seriously. It is a 20 lap race and most of the racers use it for testing purposes. I have to teach Corey about Fontana and the hot pit area since it will be a new thing for him but plan on us having a hot pit staging area there so if Mario does have the opportunity to do a solo race you can use our existing hot pit lane area to do quick adjustments.
