Looking for 00-03 gsx-r 750 engine!

Waiting on diagnosis and estimate, but most likely I'll be shopping for a slightly used 2000-2003 gsx-r750 engine. Please let me know of anything out there...

OK, so the whole decision for has come down to time and money. As it always should right? haha
I could have my motor rebuilt but the cost of that compaired to finding a used 750 motor and installing it, will be an estimated several hundreds more and take a lot more time.
If you guys have any contacts or know any good places to look please let me know. I'd like to find a motor soon so I can get that shit installed and be back on the road/track. Thanks

I've found lots of 750 engines pre 00-03 and tons 04-07. Only found a couple 00-03 on CL by going city to city...
Waiting on a response from both ads, I'll post up after I speak with them

What about Ebay? When my '01 tanked I got one off of Ebay with some non essential parts missing for $400 and I think about $100 to ship it across country.

The $950 price is if I have to pull it because its still on the frame and would be somewhat of a hassle to pull out, then of course there's the shipping of it which I wouldn't even know where to start with that. Do you have any friends in socal area that can pull it for you? If I don't sell it soon I'll let you know what I can do.

Me: I can take care of the shipping. I know the guys at Tek 9 in Tustin. So if you drop it off with the frame, will you hook them up with frame or go back and pick it up?

Him: 13k on motor, mostly fwy it was used for transportation. I had a cage on it but never stunted on it, just used the cage for better protection. Never been on track. I still owe on the title so the frame is not clean, but if they want to work out a deal to keep it anyway I'm open for options.

Dunno, seems high for that many miles, especially considering you can pickup race bikes in that vintage for about 1500 more with extras.
