Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a very harsh on/off throttle response on these '07 GSXR 750's Seems to be especialy bad in 2-4th gears around 35-60 mph.
Any adjustments I can make without having to install a powercommander?

One thing I do is remove all the slack out of the throttle cable. Be careful not too get it too tight or it will bind at full lock. It usually helps some. But to really cure it you have to get a power commander.

Have 2 of them (750's) for track & totally agree with Dan. Same problem on GSXR 1000 & ready to sell until Eric did his PC magic. Now I love the bike I once couldn't stand on the street.

Dave, mine (06') occasionally does the same thing i think. I just put a Bazzaz QS system on it, and it seems to have helped, but I think more of the problem lays in the mapping. Ill let you know how it rides after Eric maps it hopefully at the end of the month!

We'll see how much I get for the Kawi and there may be a Leo Vince slip-on, PCIII and EDR map in the works...

+1 guys...i make MORE money on the DJ stuff...but the BPD STUFF IS FOR REAL! I just finished another one and the mapping is SOOOO MUCH SMOOTHER!! Honestly i think its due to the BPD controls/adjust the ENTIRE EFI system with all 8 injectors, not just overpowering the 4 main injectors like the DJ one does. Honestly the STANDARD BPD Z-Fi (with no tc or qs) is what ill be stocking and selling as soon as we can "publically" get and sell them!
The tuning is MUCH MUCH easier and instant...and YES the QUICK shifter/ Traction Control works like viagra (or so im told by pat-13)...its fucking amazing!!
Im so horny from this new system...i cant recall another product getting me this excited!!!!

When I have that problem, sometimes I have a slack in the chain. and I have used as a band aid to friends to richen the map at 0% TP. from 3K up.
Of course a real tune is the way to go....

niceguy..we can help it out a ton for $55. I can plug air injection, adjust idle and remap it with the YOSH YMS box..its not perfect like BPD or DJ PC..but it really does help. Swing in one day.

Will Anyone be in the shop so I can drop her off Monday around noon???

Took her out for a short test ride today.
I definitely noticed a big improvement! The exhaust sounds freakin sweet, I can feel an increase in power and the on/off throttle has improved ALOT. But its still there in 2nd/3rd between 3500 and 5500 RPM. WHich consequently the Dyno print out shows it being VERY lean in that range.
I think the BPD ZF-I will really help. Cant wait!

Dave, I was in the shop taking pics of the 848 for a project on thursday and saw your bike on Chris' lift. I like your choice of silencer! Looks real good man!

Hey Dave, so what kind of power is your bike puttin down on the dyno? Did you get a baseline prior to the slipon and your other mods?

Gained 7hp at about 9,000 RPM where the air/fuel ratio was perfect and gained 5hp up top for a max hp of 127. Hopefully the Bazzaz ZFI sustem will clean up the map a bit more and itll fix the flat spot from 5-8,000 rpm and the on off throttle jerk in 2nd and 3rd.
As it sits now Its incredible! im not even using all the power on the street... yet... gonna drop a tooth on the front and make it even scarier!
I need to start wearing ear plugs now. it sounds awesome but wears me down riding all day!

Thats not too shabby! Mine is down a tooth on the front and it feels very good to me. Im looking forward to getting on the dyno hopefully by the end of the month also. I Already have my Bazzaz QS on it with a "zero" map. I did some other "special" exhaust mods to it, Im excited to see if it helped and hopefully didnt HURT the finished map! Ill be sure to get a baseline also to compare, well see when Eric works his magic on it...

Just picked her up today!
Bone stock it made 122 rwhp
Added:
Leo Vince GP style slip on
down one tooth on front sprocket (not sure if this affected HP or not)
Bazzaz Z-FI unit w/ custom dyno tuned map by Mr EdWho? himself!
After mods 133 RWHP!
and the good news is, the TRE unit would not work so they removed it, giving me my gear indicator back!!
Now for some dang dry roads to test it out!

My 2003 R6 made that much HP, thanks to EDR. Never got to race it, but Tamer bought it and did a 1:09 flat, and he eats alot of chicken too.
