Convert To GP Shift?

Do I need a special part for my '07 GSXR 750 to convert to GP shift or can I turn the clamp 180 degrees?

Turn the clamp baby!! Super easy. You will need to adjust the shift rod to get the pedal back in the right spot, but on gixxers it is super easy.

Yeah Dave, what Luke said. Also, Im pretty sure if you still have stock rearsets, you can only do GP in one of the mounting positions. I put woodcraft on mine so its no issue.

my two cents...if you're going to run GP shift with the 5 speed gearing setup, it's pretty difficult to go thru neutral from 2nd to 1st gear when downshifting...that's how I got my false neutrals last year and ruined my season. I have the same bike.

I've never had that problem could it have been your shifter position?

Nicegy's bike is street trim and not a 5-speed set up so it should be no issue.

I'll tell you another little secret...there's nothing ANYBODY can do to match DPW's braking skills! Maybe a little Mike Sullivan magic dust would help, but that's about it!

Mike is the man! Nobody, and I mean NOBODY goes into T1 at PIR better than Mike!
