Not that I care a lot, but I've noticed that both Soup and RRW.com posted letters from somebody important complaining about people (presumably less important) getting fired from the AMA. Can someone briefly explain the politics of this to me? and does this mean anything to pro racing fans?

MC HOF Prez resigned based on what is going on too. I'm too new to the sport to know the AMA more than a couple years now. I do find it interesting the letters I've read on RRW and SBPLANET.

Personally, I am all for the shake up. As many of the letters that you see posted on RRW, the AMA has been stagnant and not seem much for growth. With new management there always comes some type of drama and staffing changes.

that being said, I don't particularly agree with how the firings where done, but do agree that they needed to be done. Change isn't easy, but the majority of the time its worth it. Just my humble $.02
