Trying to find out what would be an ideal gearing set up for a 2006 GSXR 600 at Thunderhill, I am running 190/55s. Thanks

Shit I'm trying to remember..... The straight is pretty short so you'd be safe going +2 in the rear compaired to Portland. I can't even remember what stock is anymore.... its been so long! :D

isn't the gearing on the gsxr 43 rear? I think it is if so according to Justin's reply, a 45 should be fine.

So keep the front stock and just go up two on the back? I think that stock is 16/43 but I am not sure. Thanks for the advice.

NO housh, +2 OVER PIR gearing...so im thinking +2 rear, and -1 front! i would go down 1 in the front, and bring several rears with you!

OK, I'll have to check and see what is on the front (bike is new to me), and I'll bring a couple for the rear. I think I have a 45 and a 47, and a 15 for the front hanging around. Might have to pickup a 46. Thanks for the info, very helpful!!
