Why don't people like him?

Just going by his words in that article he seems a lot more level headed then you'd expect. Seems like he loves the sport and has loyalty for his team and respect for his teammate.

I admire him for his accomplishments. He is fast. He has never punted a teammate that I know about. He seems good for the business of roadracing in the US.
I would say this: Its always about the money.
Slightly off topic, did anyone notice how much different the yosh suzukis sounded than all of the other gixxers on the grid?
They even sound faster.

eh, I'd read what Jordan has to say about AMA.

He makes a pretty good point in saying that no matter how much money he has spent he just cannot make his bike as fast as the factory supported teams (lookin at you Yosh suzuki). Jordan has dumped a lot of money, and can dump a lot more money if he could buy something with it. Its not like his riders are slouches either.
