When I did my first track day in late 2006 I realized just how badly warped my rotors were (scary strong fuckin headshakes going into T1 and T7!) I bought new EBC rotors in spring of 2007 and have put MAYBE 6K street miles on them with fresh Vesrah pads.
Now the pads have plenty of meat left on them but Ill be damned if my rotors arent starting to warp again! It's not near as bad as the stock ones were but slightly noticeable when coming to a stop. id like to find a way to save them without blowing another $400 on rotors and $75 on pads and $120 on SS lines...
Would new pads and SS lines help or do I really need to buy new rotors?

If the rotors really are warped then your SOL. But I'd try some new pads and even a new tire before you do anything. But also try getting your current rotors bead blasted to get all the old pad material off. I had what felt like warped rotors before but after we put a new tire on the front it was gone. So just something about the tire was funky... But that was at the first WERA race weekend at Miller and we were going through front tires like crazy! It was doing things to tires that nobody had seen before.
I have heard of the EBC rotors warping though.

also, clean your caliper seals to make sure the pads are fully retracting. If they are not fully retracting they will cause extra friction/heat in the rotors causing them to warp.

Is your front wheel straight? Is the rotor mounting flange on the wheel straight? I'd also check your steering head bearings, sounds like there might be something else adding or causing the problem. Do you have the problem on the street or track, both? Have you put a dial indicator on the rotors to ck for runout? Be sure and ck both sides.

just put new tires on and havent road tested them yet. But when the front wheel is up on the stand I can spin the wheel and hear it catch on the rotors a bit. I will try some new pads and clean the piston seals and make sure everything is moving correctly.

Yeah, you need to get your front end checked out. The only time I warped any rotors on my bike is when I sent it doing 6 sommersults through T6 between Sully and Eli. :)

If you don't have a dial indicator, just place a screwdriver on something fixed (caliper) and up against the rotor, spin the wheel and ck for "visual" runout btw screwdriver and rotor. You can actually straighten rotors if you do it carefully enough...my Dad is an expert!

honestly ebc rotors are NOT my favorite..they are great for the money, but it seems lately we are hearing more of this...we didnt even know cause we have sold in past with success...but last 6 months or so, more and more feedback like this..
I would check up all the other items like guys above mentioned.

Sometimes the backplate of the pads warp.
But check for warped rotors with a dial.
I had those problems racing a ZX12r, yes a zx12r with lots of brutal power. I had to take the rotors and in the part that the rim goes I would straight it in the lathe.
Also the front axle was bent.
yes that bike was a nightmare except when you blow the paint of the 1000cc bikes in the straight.

I say this from experience.
If you transport your bike to and from the track or to anywhere else, check that your rotors are not coming into contact with your wheel chocks when you load your bike.
I've warped hot rotors in the past because of contact with chocks.
Just something to look at.
