+10000000 Shaggy :) I love that route also.
Along with Hwy 53 to Miami Folley, 47 is all ways fun( just not real fond of the stretch from Scapoose to Apiary. Not really sure why? ;)
The cross over from 224 I think to 26 is fun, just watch for those lind corners. The roads about a lane and a half wide.
And there are a ton more but don't remember the names or numbers.

Skagg Springs Rd is far away the best road. :)
I really need to get down to Cali and do some roads... There are so many down there.
Our Director of Service for our Company, is from that area, and has told me oh, so many tales of great roads down there (He rides). Really pisses me off. There are so many roads in the Northwest that would be damn nice, had they just been taken care of (Skate Creek for one, amazing little windy road up at Rainer, but just too narrow, to many potholes, and to many "Humps" that sneak up on you, and bash your bike into your balls...)

Have to agree, with a close 2nd Hwy 1 between Leggett, CA and Ft. Bragg, CA!

By the way Nice fucking legs on the Brutale :)
Other Favorite is Hwy 4 from Topaz, CA to Arnold, CA Then race down the mountain................. but the rule is you must turn your engine off and coast down! Got to have good corner speed or you are going to loose

personally I love riding up 224 from Estacada up to Timothy lake. I LOVE this route!!! lots of good corners, nice views of the valley when you first drop into the north fork reservoir, right along the river, and best of all there are NEVER ANY COPS!!! ( I have never seen any up there anyway)

Yeah, Hwy 1 from Leggett to the coast is definately a close 2nd. Nice, tight, twistie, smooth pavement and the cars will pull off and let you by. Imagine that. :)
Topaz...ha! I used to go to high school near there.
We have a section that we hit just outside of SF where its a coast contest. You start at the top of the hill and kill the engine. It's a blast!!!

As many times that I have been between Portland and SF I always run out of time to hit Skaggs Spring, I am going to have to make that a point. My company has a contract to service Napa County, I take my bike down as much as I can when I go south.
I laughed when you said "cars will pull off and let you by" damn that is the truth.
All this talk and I just itch-en to head south for a few days.

That's my favorite all time road, I only get one day a year in May to get that fix out of my system. It is amazing in CA that the cars pull over for you, and actually wave as you go by.
2 and 3rd favorites are Chuckanut Drive, and the switch-backs of the Mt. Baker highway. The only two reasons I miss living in Bellingham.

I agree! CA. Hwy. 1 between Legget and the coastline is my favorite!
