'02 vs. '03 GSXR 750 motor?

Is there much difference between the two? How about from '00 to '03? My buddy has an '00 bike, but there's an '00 bike for sale with an '03 motor. Worth it?

IIRC 00-03 750 are the same. Didnt change until 04.
Eric would know better though.

same motors danny. only in 04 did they change. 02 got a few little updates like transmission gears (same ratios), stronger this or that..but 100% the same
