'07 750 C46 Code Problems

Id like to hear from an opinion I trust over the knuckle heads at gixxer.com.

my '07 750 is having an intermittent c46 code pop up for the set valve. I have taken off the tail fairing and watched the servo go through its self check on start-up. every now and then the servo does not go through its entire range and it kicks the c46 code.

Im considering just removing the entire set-up and have read the "online how to's" My concerns are that removing the system may cause more problems in the long run.

Any advice would be appreciated.

do you have the stock header/servo still installed?? or full system? personally i'd remove cables, let the valve spring open/stay open all the time then remove the servo motor and pull the wire out of the ecu. the valve does nothing and servo's wear out.

Exhaust is completely stock. Thanks for your advice Eric! Sounds like I've got a fun project this week.
