How does one remove black tire scuffs (some a bit thick) from white body plastic?
Thanks.

I've had good luck with WD-40.

A mild buffing compound for clearcoat takes it right off.

Simple Green works like a charm!

And if there's any grit in the scuffiie, it becomes permanent... :(

WD-40, Simple Green, your choice of mild solvent. That and a fingertip to do the rubbing-off, in case there's more than just rubber.

WD works on Goodyear freckles, but I haven't tried Simple Green yet.
When does Woodburn open?. :yipi:

Thanks all.
No chemicals did it, although some helped.
Basically had to sand and buff.
