Meh. I dont think test times mean shit.

Look at qualifying for example. Some riders can qualify terribly and race much better. As you well know, its one thing to throw down a fast lap, its another to throw down the same one for 30 laps. :)

Go Nicky , go. Eric what if they put Toseland on the Ducati? The one Melandri is riding as his style suits that bike and Melandri's does not in my opinion.
My wife and daughter are huge Nicky fans so it really makes the moto gp event super fun at my house!!!

nico, true BUT look at the line up... thats the NORMAL grouping honestly! you dont have say Gintuoli in the lead...its imo a pretty typical field and besides..mentally for him a HUGE thing i bet!

What I'd like to know is who was on a qualifier and who was on race rubber when those fast laps were set.

From what I can tell reading RRW & Soup, it looks like Hayden, Stoner, Lorenzo, Rossi & Toseland's times were on Q's.

Hayden said he did 2:01.6's on race rubber. Assuming Edwards was on Race rubber too, then Hayden & Edwards would be the fastest on R's, but you never know what the other riders times were on R's either...so it could all be mute.

As Nico says, it don't mean a thing, except to give us Racing Addicts something to argue about!

What's interesting to me is how quick Lorenzo is to get "up to pace!" Maybe all the hype is real. Can't wait for racing season!
