electrical issue

I have a Motocomm bike camera set up on my bike. Everything works perfectly, except the audio when recording. When I tested it, the video shoes up like it should but with no audio. BUT when I set the system to record audio only I get the sound, so I know that the microphone works. Do you have an idea of why this could be happening without having the bike there?
