I converted my trike from belt to chain. because it was too high geared.
I am running 14 front and 43 back at 60 my speedo says 77, if i go 15 front will that correct enough or should i go 16. thank you.:83:

Where's the speedo driven from, the front wheel, or the rear?. If it's the one in back, you'd need a smaller CS sprocket, not a larger one. The solution is to make the engine spin faster & produce a higher speedo reading for a given wheel speed, and a larger front sprocket will make the speedo error even worse..... Using a 12t front sprocket isn't a good idea, so the answer is at the other end of the chain. :)
The 77 @ 60 means that the current gearing is off by ~28%: (77/60 = 1.2833), so 43 X 1.28 = 55.04.
A 55t rear with your current 14t front will be really close. (77/60) X (43/55) = 1.003, so the net result should be almost dead-nuts on.
PS- I hope you didn't get your speed calibration the expensive way.
