Just a reminder the last opportunity for a track day at PIR in 2010 is coming up this Friday. Thankfully, 2-Fast has grabbed the date for us just before the final OMRRA race weekend of the year which gives racers the opportunity to do final setup and trackday/street riders one more day in the safe environment of the track to hone some skills before the winter rains come.

Actually, the current forecast calls for the moisture to not even start 'till late in the day or early evening. But even if it arrives earlier than forecast it should be welcomed as a great opportunity to really work on getting our skills ready for our winter rides in the wet and get to do that practice in the safe track environment. As much as I don't like getting my bike wet I sure find that I learn sooo much more with a wet track about how to ride better and how important it is to be smooth on the inputs. At days end I know I've been much more productive.

There's nothing worse than missing out on your last chance for another great 2-Fast day on the track in 2010. I can't wait. Hope to see you there. And remember it's still a trackday so the pace and passing rules will be comfortable for all (except maybe Eric ;-) )
