Its too bad Honda is all hush, hush about the recent laguna test. Jake as asked to ride superbike and went to the laguna test. Jake rode the corona superstock bike as set up at Macau, old tires and everything, no gearing or suspension changes and went faster than Miguel on the new 2008 superbike. 1:26.1 or something like that. Then jumped on the new 2008 street bike with turn signals and street bodywork and did a 1.31 or so. SWEET! Left for the airport, Tim, owner of corona team met Jake at the airport and told him Honda wants him to run superstock, NOT superbike now. (I am guessing they don't want him making Factory guys look bad) They want him to win a championship the last year of Superstock. Jake wants to do both but...

Now there is a rumor someone else is joining team to run Superbike which will really make Jake mad as he beat the guy every race last year on his superstock bike when this guy was on a superbike. :-(

I hope he goes out and spanks those guys on his SS bike, just because he can!!!

honda is GREAT at holding riders back until too late! Also, the honda i hear is STUPID fast in 2008! you guys can still throw stones, but i think its gonna be fucking fast this season! also, they all were riding on the NEW DUNLOP D211-Ntech DOT's! GIT SUM!!!

Amazing they put Lynn on the Superbike and Jake on the Superstock. Jake mopped up on Lynn from what I remembe and they give Lynn the better ride.

Hondas are competitive in Superbike trim but are flat out dogs in Superstock...best wishes to Jake and congrats! If he wins the Superstock title on the bike, he needs double kudos!
