Dear NW NESBA Members,
I am saddened to inform you that we must suspend operations in this region. The low attendance over the past few years, misfortune with weather (event cancellations) and disproportionate track fees prevent us from continuing.
The NW market has been challenging for some time. We were optimistic that things would change. However, global market conditions presented a tougher challenge and with national organizational responsibility, we must focus on events/regions with increased participation and immediate potential.
Our short term plan is to close-out our northwest 2010 season with the completed Pacific 8/5 event. At the end of the 2010 season, I will work with Mike and Nico to develop our 2011 plan.
For memberships, credits and refunds:
We will extend all memberships one year from current expire date
If you purchased credits from the NESBA site (blocks of credits), and have not used them to self cancel an event, you will be granted a refund
If you paid (cash/credit) for an event that was removed from the calendar by NESBA. You will be granted a refund
Credits not eligible for refund:
Membership fees
From crash/mechanical credits
From Rain Insurance cancellation
Refund of credits purchased/transferred from another member or TD Store
Remaining credits can be sold or transferred to other members. Please send email to info@nesba.com to process any of the above options.
Our 2010 plan is meticulously crafted and presently on a path that will allow us options to continue operations in both the Mid-Central and Northwest in 2011. We are making steps to fortify that position. It is NESBA’s intention to offer you opportunities to ride with us next year.
Kind Regards and best of luck to us all,
DJ
