What is the STOCK spring rate in the forks of the K6/K7 GSXR 600/750s
The 600 is .93kg and the 750 is .97kg, anything else? Nice avatar :D

yea... I have gained 35 pounds since the WMRRA banquet...
I haven't gotten off the couch for two weeks... I have a taxi driver that stops buy every morning with a 5th of wild turkey and some pepperoni hotpockets...

Hey Barry, what type of rider weight range will those k6 750 fork springs handle?

I rode on stock 750 springs last year (with more internal preload) and weighed 210 (w/o gear) during racing season. I'd say I was right at the limit of the spring (occasional metal to metal bottoming). Hoping to get to 185 this year and will keep the same springs.

WOW! i didn't even know that! There ya go Vino..no need i guess. Its still hard for me to visualize DPW was only 15lbs heavier than me...DPW you down to 190 yet? lol

No, I'm about 215 right now, the injuries have kept me from dieting and working out. Once I'm back up to strength I'll work on getting weight off, hope to be riding by the end of the month!

Thanks dudes for the info! I am right about 195-200 with gear on so im hoping it will work fine with the springs as is... not that I wouldnt love to have some "GP Kung-Fu" mods done to them. Ill def. have Barry do the setup on this one too foooor shoooor!
