2Fast Portland Season Opener - Cinco de Mayo!
http://www.2-fast.org/images/Forum/2Fast-Cinco-de-Mayo.jpg
2Fast is pleased to host its first Portland International Raceway event of the year on Wednesday, May 5th! We are looking forward to an excellent day of riding, instruction, and general fun only the way 2Fast can do. We will be putting on our well known Performance School for $249, or you can just sign up for the track day for $149. Eitherway, you will have a memorable event with us. You can register for the event here (http://www.2-fast.org/eshop/cart.php?target=category&category_id=263) on our website.
We are looking at ways to express the Cinco de Mayo spirit. Right now it looks like we'll have free Corona's and Tecate's in the pits after the event!
So come join us for a great day and we look forward to seeing you there!

"Anyone" ????? How 'bout "Everyone".
Mark with his 2Fast operation is a guarantee of a great time for everyone at any track he goes to. Doesn't matter what level rider you are or even if you've never been to the track before. Plus it's time to ride and sharpen our skills after another long Winter. Outstanding early season price Mark.
As I've said before, we all need to support all the track day providers as best we can so they'll be around for years to come. We get to have fun because they stick their financial asses out renting tracks. My hat's off to all of 'em.
Let's get this season going and get out to the track. OFTEN!

MikeM and I are toying with coming down. That would make 5 days on the track in 7 days. Im trying to find the downside. :D

The downside for you will be catching hell from Jennifer for not spending time with her and Jordan! :boulay::72: :great:

I am thinking about it, if Barry has some spec tires for me to test I would be really tempted.

Wow! SO fun!!! Got about 30 laps on new bike and R1 ROCKS! let Omrra #2 Dan Wilson ride it and he was impressed a lot with chassis but needed more power/top speed (engines stock) the 2Fast owner good buddy Mark Degross took her for rip and said similar but loved how it came off corners. I did a few high 1:16's!! Not bad for first ride on the R1!!DLP
Huge thanks to Mark and 2Fast for another epic day and putting a smile on my face!!

Here was my reply to Nick....
Uggg nick u fxxker! I guess times not too bad considering only ridden bike 102 miles and half was on dyno! Plus 1st time on the bike @PIR. I think with new tires (I was on last years take offs) and more seat time I could do 13-14's pretty consistently...honestly I wasn't pushing at all, rode REALLY conservative.. Plus forks/shock bone stock! DPW and Degross were surprised at chassis. I'm really amped at just how good the bike is!!! I got some cool props from Pat and Mark as well as Jason McCarty...thanks guys! Just need to get a bit more in shape and get wrist/hands fixed (baddddd carpel tunnel) great day!!!

Its nice to see you starting to enjoy the sport you work so hard to support. Glad the new bike is working out well, I'll bet suspension would find you another 3 sec easy. Good suspension can turn even an average guy into a superstar.

John I'll let Dan or Mark answer on suspension but IMO it's WAY better than most! At 1:16's it's way fine for me. I know Dan was doing faster than that and he's even a bit bigger than myself and Mark was rippin on it, but had nothing but positive things about suspension. IMO it isn't what I need to do 13-14's...it's just more seat time (actually less according to them...lol I don't hang off) and a bigger pair of balls. :)

I thought the geometry felt good, and while I wasn't pushing it, it never did anything unexpected. It felt just like a twin, very smooth and also it had a great transmission (much better than Suzuki).
