There is this new camera called the VholdR, and some of the features seem to be pretty good. Check it out and let me know what you think, if it is a good thing to get or not.

it looks like a nice camera, pretty small, light weight, and durable. the ONLY problem that see with it is the battery charge only lasts about 2 hours. so if you are on a ride and forget to turn it off while taking a break, or your ride lasts longer than 2 hours than your out of luck. I hooked mine up to my bike battery so that it will always have power. In looking at the "vholdr" is that it has no way to hook it up to your battery if you wanted to. the only option it has is to plug it in and charge it. Don't get me wrong it looks like a great camera for the price.

I was looking at one of these until I saw the quality of the video. Its not bad but not as good as a wired helmet cam and camcorder, which is what I went and got. Do a search for it on youtube and you'll be able to see the kind of video it does.

chris- I found a video sample on u-tube. you might want to think about doing something else! for some reason the link isn't showing up. go to U-tube and type in "vholdr" watch the last video, called "video 1, my first video". the quality of the video isn't very good.

I agree that is a bad video. But I don't think I am going to get it anyway. I want something a little different.

For what I am looking for it is perfect. Not looking to make a broadcast video, looking to have firm evidence of throttle position and reference points.
