The Black ones are nice.

The Red/White ones are a direct throwback to the original "Air Jordans" and I'm guessing they are (not so subtly trying to tie in with Jordan) given that James Stewart is black and the "Air Jordan" is a design that's know around the globe.

We'll see how they sell. Luke has it right though, if the function is good, people will buy it.

Yeah, I remember all the controversy that the original Jordans caused and alot of people thought they were ugly, too. I got a very early pair (Dad worked for Nike at the time) and got to show off at OSU kids basketball camp!

I think they are a bit clunky, but alright, they will refine over time. The look like their old canvas court shoes but big.

Dungey has been on them for 5 or so years to make the boots and was the tester for them, apparently James came in after the fact (so the rumor goes).
