Vortex clipons

A friend of mine just installed a set of vortex clipons on his R6. What is the standard practice for realigning the stock hardware? Do you remove the guide nubbin or drill a guide hole into the vortex bars?

no please dont remove! drill the holes. Get them about the angle you want, and use a marker to mark the angle. THen take some paint pen/nailpolish and put on the pin...then put the switch back on the bar by hand aligning the marks...the paint will make a mark where you need to drill the hole. Typically 1/4"

Good luck, take your time and DOUBLE CHECK that everything is TIGHT!
