FYI, just received this info so thought I'd post here in case anyone affected by the cancellation. Sad times :-(

Hey guys and gals,

Do to us have very few sign ups for Portland (6 for the one next week), we have cancelled the remaining Portland events for this year. Portland area has been struggling in general w/ track days with unemployment over 12%. I know CTT and PSSR have been feeling the effects quite a bit. I’ve posted to the various forums, so word should be out that these events are no longer happening.

We are about as official as you get! :) That email was sent out to the CR's letting us know.

I wasn't questioning the authenticity, simply commenting that there has not been any official message from NESBA on this cancellation. If I hadn't seen Pat's post or checked out this forum or others, then I would have shown up on Wednesday to an empty track...and would have been pissed!
