On my 06 750, I want a more slip out of the stock slipper. I have adjusted the 3 stopper bolts to 1.5 turns out, but other than that it is stock.

I know yosh sells some different reaction springs....is this the best option? How much difference do they make? Are there any other mods that will help?

matt what are you aiming for? What rules are you racing in? In SS here we can modify the spring for the slipper. The yosh ones are a bit $$ imo. I have had luck with removing one entire one (must use a seat shim thou to keep same height) but that is VERY two stroke like..i mean VERY. You can also modify one of the diaphrams, grind off a few tabs in equal spots around one of the springs, IIRC the spings have 18 tabs. Try removing a few like every other 3rd or 4th one. I would baby step it thou.

Good luck, worst case spend the money on a Yoyodyne slipper..they are SOOO much better!! Nothing like the ball bearing ramp styles

Hey Ed. Yeah, I had a Yoyo on my 05 600 and it was a lot smoother than the new OEM ones. I just have a couple turns at a few tracks where my engine braking is over slowing me on corner entry. It would probably be fine with stock compression, but with a built motor a tad more slip would be nice.

I didn't know the prices of the Yosh springs, so that is good to know. I think removing 1 (2 total I believe on the 750) would be too much. Grinding the tabs sounds like something to try. Do you recommend grinding the inner or outer spring?

matt really i'd do the inner one if i had to pick. Just take a few off, dont go nuts. you'll be amazed at the little bit makes big difference. Good luck.

If the 750 is the same as the 1000 K6.... I just adjusted the cam of the stv valves and the bike opens a bit the throtle on desaceleration... is a small bolt that when I start my bike it opens the gas a bit then closes .... before it reved the bike like to 1.5 now to 2.3...

Just my 2 cents, never seen a 750 new ones....
