Some idiots broke into our condo garage last night and broke into several cars. I am sorry to say that they also got into my locked storage closet and stole:
* Honda 2000 EU portable generator
* Sidi Vertigo Corsa boots (new), two sets of Alpinestar GP Plus gloves (red), two Alpinestars spine protectors ($1,000+ value?)
* About $600-$800 worth of rock climbing gear (ropes, harnesses, shoes, etc)
* North Face back pack (black) with ski gloves, ski pants etc. inside ($700? value)
* Duffle Bags, tools, etc. etc.
I looked for recent postings on Craigs List today but did not see anything. Please keep an eye out for anybody attempting to sell any of these on the sly. I have a very distinguisable mark I left on the Honda generator so I would instantly recognize it if I had a chance to inspect it.
I know this is pretty futile but this just pisses me off to levels I cannot begin to explain.

Damn Acy, that sucks! When I first saw the thread, I initially thought that someone had got the bike. Thank god I was wrong. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for ya.

lol, E my brother can attest to that (the dogs).
When I stopped by EDR about a week back I was trying to introduce him to Haga, and the little guy just flipped on Joel, it was hilarious. He's all growling, snapping and barking at him, and Joel's just sitting there with his hand out, ROFL. Gwynne is going, "He's never done that to anyone before!"
....Thought it was pretty funny, esp. since I work at a dog daycare and I just walked up to Haga and started playing with him, and the dude was just 100% chill as always....
keep a leash on that beast Eric, hahaha

wow that is horrible. I know there is nothing that anyone can say to make you feel at ease with this but I'm sorry. I have had my car broken into also, but it was in a parking lot, I can't imagine how I would feel if someone broke into my house. you must feel so unsafe now. Are you going to be able to get any of it replaced from insurance? Good luck

I used to live off of 50th and latona, sorry to hear about your missing things, I had 3 car stereos stolen when I lived there, thankfully I carried a $50 deductible and was able to recover my loss quickly.
