since we are talking ballots..what are your guys thoughts on the Ducati 848 being allowed in 600SB for OMRRA? (its allowed in all other clubs)

I voted to allow it. why not?

If the 1098 is going to be allowed in 750sb then 848 should be allowed in 600sb. If you do the math the 1098 has a bigger displacement advantage vs. the 750's than the 848 does vs. 600's

I agree, so let's consider the matter closed.

I agree - and if the 848 isn't allowed in 600SB, then the next (il)logical place for it would be 750 - where it would be competing against the 1098, which obviously wouldn't make sense...let 'em race in 600SB.

Separate question - would the 848 be allowed in 750SS as well as 600SB and 750SB?

I think it is shit!!!!! They put out more horsepower than any 600 out there, put the overpriced richmans bike in the twins class where it belongs! Its a "600" class where "600s" go to race, not where bikes that kinda overpower the 600's race! Why not let my 600 and 750 in the twins classes????? I say keep 600 classes to the 600 bikes.

Club racing is supposed to emulate national level racing to help promote the sport. The 848 since last year has been legal in AMA FX which is a 600 class. Not sure which one in club terms, but it is a 600 class
