SERIOUSLY?? even if i was a MULTI millionaire, NO ONE home is worth that! Thats just goddamn stupid!

I mean, to be honest this house and a 10mil house not much different!

I'd rather have a $1mil home on beach in Costa Rica, $5mil home on beach in Hawaii, $10Mil home in San Diego/LA, a nice $2Mil Penthouse in Paris, an AMAZING house in Carrabian for $10Mil, a pimp $3Mil condo/loft in Miami and NICEEEE $1Mil home in Pdx! and a SICK plane for $8mil...then $2Mil for a few lambo's, ferrari's, about 10 bikes, and my own $1mil hanger/gas station with pump gas, diesel, race gas and av gas for all my shit!

Good god...thats stupid!

"... parking for 100 cars, ballroom, gatehouse..."

My thought are since its in DC, its used for "power broker" types, which enables sycophants or special interest types, or maybe someone actually "elected", a base of operation and power -- quick easy access to the scene. Then again prob a former GW whitehouse type who's now out of a "job" :)

But your point is well made for more "normal" types.

Apparently you've never seen the estate Trump developed and sold for $100 million. And it looked like it was worth that much. LOL

Come on Eric, seriously? This is an estate of the super rich, net worths in the 9 - 11 digit value (100's of millions to ten's of billion). Its one thing to be able to afford a home like this, its another thing to pay the taxes, maintenance, and furnishings.

Wealth is a relative thing. The poorest in our country are rich when compared to many others in the world. To put into prespective, a man with a $50 mil net worth, I think we'd all say is very wealthy. However, he's a chump financially when compared to someone with $10's of Billions of net worth, which is 500x's wealthier, of which there are many in the US, let alone the world.

Applaud success of any kind and don't criticize the apparent extravagence of the super wealthy. The poor all over the world could criticize you personally just in the same way out of equal ignorance as you criticize people that own this house.

OMG that is ridiculous, 2.5 Acres and a show house? There's an Ass for every saddle! Wonder why it's for sale after 85 Years?
I was thinking the same thing, sh!t you'd have to rent it out to make the payments. Look at the freakin loan terms, 40% down 171K+ a month. Yikes
