Pretty pathetic if you ask me. They continually show how threatened they are by you. Instead of worrying about their own business/business and customers they are worried about trying to make Eric look bad. I guess i shouldn't expect it to be anything different.

i think the situation is sorta silly and you should just let the dude post up. you're both pretty entertaining reads to be honest. and sometimes the banter is the highlight of the workday.

i get confused by how upset the parties involved become because i'm in a situation where the competitors are typically some of the best people i work along side and we readily share information. but i'm in robotics/motion programming working for the man and not a small business owner so i'm sure it's a different environment.

ultimately i spend my money at your shop because:
the work has always been fair priced and very professional.
the staff is easy to talk too and doesn't recoil when i pick their brains while picking up my bikes/parts.
in the couple dealings i've dealt with you directly, your easy to talk with and don't hesitate to inform.

i wish sometimes you'd take a more passive approach via the whole web/message board "wars" because i think it shows a high level of professionalism to just let an attack or comment slip by.

i think if you see his ip on hittin the page, take solace in the fact he's curious to see whats goin on. no real need to make a public post. but thats just my opinion.

but hey, i'm just a customer so why should i feel a need to influence the owner of a shops reactions to certain situations.

i'm going to spend my money where i'm most satisfied with the product i receive in return coupled with the treatment i get when making the transaction and right now edr really meets my needs on both counts.

/end

happy n.y.

nicely put. I agree. Think ill try that approach. And honestly i do enjoy that they take time to read it. I know i'd probably read theirs. The problem is NOT sage vs eric. or even other shops vs EDR. Its more the groups of both parties that keep the fires going. but neither of us do it any good to help stop it either...

Exactly my point E. I know it's tough sometimes, but the higher road makes you taller.........
