Hey guys and gals, mike's been bustin ass on updating our website..its not close to done yet but i think its looking good! I REALLY want peoples input..(you can pm me if you want to do so) but the input will help us make it even better!!

I think the website is great. I haven't had any problems. the only suggestion that I could think of would maybe have some sort of "buddy box" in the corner, kinda like AOL instant messanging where you can see when a person/member/buddy logs on and off, keep track of buddies and such. other than that it's all running great.

I don'tknow if this is a possiblity or not, but I NEVER get responses from my PM's to people. (it's probably that everyone just ignors me which I'm used to) is there a way to make it more obviouse that you have a new message?

very modern - I love it! I haven't run into any problems in just surfing it, haven't tried anything beyond basic though...

In response to 'mygixxer' I went through and changed everyone's notification setting to display a popup notice if you have a new PM. You can go into your profile and turn it off if you don't want it. I also believe (crossing fingers) we have the email notification thing fixed as well.

Eric, If you are talking about the main website, I'd kill the exhaust sound. It gets annoying and it will help with load times.

mic, thanks. i actually wanted sound. i asked mike to put a "Sound Off" button so you can kill it. Personally i want a wfo sound but mike thought ppl at work might get in trouble

In general I don't care of sound files that autoplay. I would prefer to kick it to the curb. I exposed a quicktime controller to turn it down, mute it, pause it... but unless we set a cookie to denote the state of the user selection it is going to kick back up every time you hit the homepage. If there are enough dissenting opinions, I suspect ED could be persuaded to kill it.
