Tonight i got a text from him (i assume, since i didnt have his number..its 503.750.xxxx...pretty sure i know who).
Really in the long run a shame, just back in 2005 all the shops in the NW "got along" now seems when times get tough and your competition(us) has stepped up even more than before and your own shop and reputation are falling faster than the consumers confidence and housing market you must resort to personal attack after attack..then even after you "beat them with a technicality" its not enough..ya gotta keep pushing! I took your personal attacks and bashings of my business and turned my anger towards your comments into pushing myself to step up even more! The best thing for me is when someone pushes me/my shop or worse, pushes me by bad mouthing and challenging me/us! THANKS!
To be honest, acting like "you guys" did was the BEST THING i could have wished for! Really opened up a lot of NW racers/customers eyes! People tend to like guys that are HONEST and act the same in person as they do online, behind backs. I maybe a brash guy and too opinionated but there is no second guessing me or my intentions...guess thats why our shop in the HORRID economy right now and during sport/race bike "dead season" looks like this??... 9 engines and 28 bikes..

NO ONE is getting rich or even doing "Great" right now, but i feel really blessed and grateful we are busy, have plenty of work for my entire crew(means A LOT to me to be able to keep providing for my guys/families), 6 engines in the room, 3 on floor waiting, picking up 2 more new bikes from wmrra this weekend and can pay some bills. Great for me and my crew to hear from our local sales reps that the big shops (Dealers) are REALLY not going good (then again, they are sitting on MILLIONS of inventory!) and we are still impressing them!
Great year has lead to a great winter (considering the econ!) and i have a feeling only a better 2009!
