so i hate my current nsx wheels, and have someone to buy (for more than these cost me its sad that i can get $3k for mine USED and the new ones are way less than that!) i have narrowed it to these 3....what do you guys like or dislike and why?

How about these ones guys? I like how simple and clean..not sure if i'd do std finish or black centers with the std polished lips??? i know..the ALL black is too much, but i put it up for the look of black spokes...

I agree that your current wheels look a little too Miami Vice, but the deep dish look is a fad that will fade. Let form follow function and go with the timeless designs, the Volk are nice but personally I'd go with the Advan.

BTW, I love the avatar. Every time I watch AMA Supersport they've got Josh Hayes flexing gun for the camera, and look he wins again. Now he's moving up as well, all thanks to a little pep talk from Dorn (and balls the size of NSX wheels).

my pep talk is inFAMOUS now! ask any of my riders...i call it "MOTIVATION by INTIMIDATION" they call it rude, rash, harsh, makes em cry, etc... but it WORKS!


Back OT, im torn! i like the lip a bit, it does kinda fit the car's era, BUT the newer front end i have fits in with the modern look of no lip....where is Don Beck and his analysis when you need a rocket scientist?

You know the Volk GTM was my choice. But that Advan does fit the car very well. Surprisingly well. I actually just saw a murdered F430 with the same wheel and it was sick. And you know I am not a no lip wheel kind of guy. Try something new. Get the Advan.

All cars need wheels!! All my cars and bikes have aftermarket wheels although; there are some considerations for each vehichle.

For your NSX rotating mass {you already understand +/- of that choice}
>PNW road conditions, chuckholes, parking curbs,is the fiance going to be driving it ?
>ease of cleaning/detailing the wheels {w/sponge or 1/2hr w/toothbrush}
>repairable or throwaway
>PERSONAL choice its yours find something no one else has

Eric, a friend of the family makes FIKSE wheels usually a custom made race fitment,think 24 hrs,sebring,porschecup.His wheels are truly neet pieces

bdf, i agree. however, i dont mind wheel cleaning, i dont worry about potholes since i did rarely and am SUPER cautious when doing so, also the ones im looking at are all light.

Fiske are nice, but out of my price range. I want to get new wheels for less than i sell my old wheels, the fiske are $$...like kfg $$ which i dont have :)

Advan all the way...that flat lip would look odd on a sleek body. Beamers and Benz's ok, but not the NSX..
