Ok,

So Mario's first race of the season is now in jeopardy! We just got a call from the Custom Leather shop that was making Mario's leathers and they informed us that they are now not going to be able to deliver his leather in time for him to make the January 13th race in Fontana. As a matter of fact, his leather will not be ready now until Mid May! WTF????

Ok, I understand that shit happens, but come on! They could have just told me this a few weeks ago so that I might have time to go and find leathers for him. So, I went to Mario's sponsor (CYCLE GEAR) and they got us a pair of Alpinestars Youth leathers that they are now offering. Unfortunately, the only size they had was a XL and when Mario tried them on, they were friggin huge! Thing is, Alpinestars are back ordered through JUne of 2008 now for the YOuth Leathers and trying to get Mario custom leathers now will cost me over $2k and will also not be done for at least 8 weeks....ARRRRGGGGGGGG

We started this process over 6 weeks ago and was told that there would be no issues getting the leathers done in time. Now, before any of you ask who it was, let me save you the trouble and tell you that I will not mention them! I;m not out to badmouth anyone, but just needed to vent cause I know you hosers can atleast understand where I'm coming from.

So, if any of you have any leathers that might fit a 4'10" 82 lb kid, let me know. Man this sucks..not the way that we wanted to start the year....

Now, I just hope that the bikes get done in time... Hee hee

If you ever need something done to your leathers, call Victoria A and ask for Eugene. He can take a big suit and custom fit it for you, also can fix about any leathers that are damaged. Eugene can put your custom name on the back or front of your leathers along with sawing any patches needed. He is the man!! Tell him that Barry sent you in and he will take care of you.

Mario - This would be the 2% solution, but if you can use these for whatever reason you can have them. Maybe they can get passed around and other kids might use them for mini races, whatever.

Never worn, early 90's Nankai two piece. Problem is - minimal armor if any and no Velcro for pucks. Definitely fit a kid, though. Other problem .. old school ain't real cool.

If these could get used or just get hung up in the Eric Dorn Motorcycle Museum next to the stripper pole let me know.

You can give Ben Taylor a call and see if he has Bennie's new one done yet, or see even if Bennie's red suit might fit. I think he was about that size when he wore it.

But the wider reach would be to post on SCminiGP, Barf, and SEMRA to see if anyone has any. I recall seeing a couple posts for suits in the general range you are stating.
