I fucked up my lower triple

Ed, does any other bikes (Suzuki) lower triples work on the second gen SV650s?

I took the front end off my bike tonight and am planning on giving it to Barry for some work. When I was taking the head bearing stuff off, the lower tensioner nut stripped all the way off. I have no friggin clue how the thing could get miss aligned, it was tight when I started unscrewing it. In any case, the threads are all jacked up on the steering head stem thing and I can either replace it, or the entire lower triple.

I just checked ebay and those fags have none available. If I buy new from a dealer are the stupid expensive?

oh, and thanks for the track side support yesterday, and for the brake fluid today. I really appreciate it and will be in the shop in the next day or so with forks and money.

i would NEVER EVER buy a used triple! they are almost always bent!

Hit up the omrra, wmrra, and wera boards. I would buy used from another racer so long as many knew them.
