600SS - 1st - steady rain started about 45min before the race, so nobody got any wet practice. Fortunately I have a very good wet setup. I got an ok start, and then it was basically a repeat of the prior event battling with Eli and using lappers (on like lap 4!) to our advantage. We both had some big corner-exit moments, me in T4 & T8 and Eli big time in T7. He managed to get fully inverted, boots in the air, and come back down into the seat. I got by him and then on the last lap I had a major rear end slide going through T8. I held her neutral throttle and it kept sliding for quite a while but came back. Felt like a dirtbike.
750SS - 4th - damn stupid visor went white on lap 1. Never ever let any Lemon Pledge near the inside of your visor. I had to back way off the pace and almost bagged it but decided to ride easy. Felt like a street ride, leisurely entering the bus-stop and T3 one-handed while I flipped up the visor.
600SB - 3rd - I got a shitty start and on lap 1 I took a big shit at the bus-stop and left it in neutral for what seemed like 3s. effing eff - guys were sailing by me as I jammed on the shifter like a retard. Finally got it going again and made my way up to 5th place, and then Eli and Lenny Hale (AFM) crashed so I got third. I ended up having a fantastic race with Ross Delong (on his 848). I thought he was going to pull me real bad but not the case.
750SB - 7th - started from the second wave. Lots of traffic for the first half of the race and quite a few lappers (we really need to have a time cut-off, it's getting stupidly unsafe) but I managed to get up into the top ten.
Big thanks for all the help - Eric was nice enough to swap my wheels out on Sunday morning and the Dunlop service is impeccable as usual.
See you in a couple days!
